Privacy Policy

Who we are

Ezeseed is operated by Prarabdh Ventures Pvt. Ltd., Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India ("Ezeseed", "we", "us"). We are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act").

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us through the forms on this website:

• Cohort application: your name, email, phone number, startup name, sector, stage, funding interest and need, a link to your pitch deck, and anything you write about your startup.
• Contact form: your name, email and message.
• Investor network request: your name, email, fund or firm, investor type, cheque size, sectors of interest and thesis.
• Where you came from: the campaign link or website that brought you here and the first page you visited (for example "utm_source=linkedin"). This is stored with your submission, not used to identify you elsewhere.

If website analytics is enabled, Google Analytics collects standard usage information such as pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type. It uses cookies for this. We do not use it to identify you personally.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as government ID numbers or bank details through these forms.

Why we use it

• To review your application and decide on cohort selection.
• To reply to your message or investor request, and to send you a confirmation that we received it.
• To match startups with relevant investors, grants and partners, only after we have spoken with you and you have agreed.
• To understand which of our pages and campaigns are useful, so we can improve them.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Consent

By submitting a form you consent to us processing your personal data for the purposes above. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us at the address below; this does not affect processing already carried out.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy commitments:

• Netlify (website hosting and form storage).
• Google Workspace (our email, including confirmation emails).
• Google Analytics (website usage statistics, if enabled).

Some of these providers store data outside India. Where that happens, transfers are made in line with the DPDP Act and any restrictions notified by the Government of India.

How long we keep it

We keep application and enquiry data for as long as needed to evaluate and support your startup or respond to you, and for up to 24 months after our last interaction, after which it is deleted unless we have an ongoing engagement or a legal reason to keep it.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
• correct, complete or update it;
• erase it, where it is no longer needed or you withdraw consent;
• nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Grievances

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer at contact@ezeseed.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access is limited to the Ezeseed team members who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Children

This website is intended for founders, researchers and investors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
